BEN DREW COMMITS TO DIVISION 1 JUCO IN TEXAS!

Please help us in congratulating our latest DownUnder Traveller Ben Drew from Perth, Western Australia who has verbally committed to play at Frank Phillips Division 1 Junior College in Texas.

Ben has loved every minute of the 7 years of baseball he has played, starting at the T-Ball level and never looking back; “Baseball is a way for me to connect with my friends and have a good time. When I step on the field I'm going out to try to win with my mates. Nothing else matters and we just have a good time and enjoy it”.

Ben is looking forward to experiencing what the D1 JUCO has to offer first hand, “The coach is very offensively minded and likes to teach the way of hitting I have been taught in Perth. This made me have confidence that I am going to continue my development as a baseball player and become a better hitter under coach Brown, along with Frank Phillips plays in region 5 Texas which is renowned for being a very good baseball conference. I like a good challenge so I feel that playing in this conference is going to give me that challenge which will help me to develop my baseball skills further”.
