CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LATEST DUT RUI YOSHIDA TO COMMIT TO USA COLLEGE!!!

Please join us in congratulating Rui Yoshida from Japan who is our latest DownUnder Traveller athlete to commit to playing college baseball in America.

Rui has chosen to commit to Clarendon College due to the opportunities that the college will provide in support of both his sporting and academic ambitions. He is very excited to join Clarendon College and said, “Clarendon College has many amazing facilities.”

As a player with both talent and tenacity, Rui started his baseball journey 16 years ago. Playing as Shortstop or Second Baseman, he approaches teamwork with a positive attitude and has worked hard to sharpen his accuracy and agility. When asked what baseball means to him, he simply said, “Baseball is my life.”

Rui contacted the DownUnder Travellers after hearing that they had successfully placed many aspiring players in American college baseball over a short period of time. He said, “The DownUnder Travellers helped me to achieve my dream of playing college baseball and I am very grateful.”

For players wanting to pursue a future in baseball he said, “If you want to continue playing baseball, you have to love it. Good connections will also help you through your baseball life.”
