Howie Norsetter announced as first Team Manager for the December 2023 DownUnder Travellers vs Puerto Rico series

Please help us welcome a living legend, Howie Norsetter who will manage the DownUnder Travellers vs Puerto Rico here in Australia this December.

Howie has signed more players in Australia to professional baseball contracts than any other scout in history. He has inked over 100 baseball players to professional Major League contracts.

In terms of coaching experience before becoming a scout, Howie has been involved in High School, College clinics, university summer teams, Indy teams, and Victorian Club teams. Notably, he was the first manager of the Melbourne Bushrangers in the Initial ABL.

As a scout, Howie's achievements include being responsible for over 100 signings for the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies. This impressive list comprises 25 Major Leaguers, 10 Future’s Game participants, 4 Minor League organizational Players of the Year and Pitchers of the Year, 4 MLB All-Stars, a MLB MVP/Batting champion, and a Hall of Famer. In the last two World Baseball Classics, Howie had over 12 players on the Australian national team.

Additionally, Howie has discovered two NPB and two KBO all-stars after FOUR MLB all-stars.
