CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LATEST DUT OWEN GLOVER TO COMMIT TO USA COLLEGE!!!

Please join us in congratulating Owen Glover from Sydney, New South Wales who is our latest DownUnder Traveller athlete to verbally commit to playing college baseball in America.

Owen started playing baseball when he was 5 years old and said that he is passionate about the sport because, “For me, baseball is a place to escape to. I enjoy being part of a team and making lifelong friendships.”

After the DownUnder Travellers connected Owen with representatives from their extensive network of colleges, he made the decision to commit to McCook College. He said that he was excited to commit to McCook College because, “They offer a good hitting program. I like the structure of how fitness is tailored to my strengths and abilities. They also help players to achieve placement into a 4-year College program to further players education and baseball careers.”.

When asked how he found the recruitment process with the DownUnder Travellers, he said “The process was excellent. The DownUnder Travellers are easy to deal with and they understand players abilities so that they can be placed with the college that is the best fit for them.”

Owen encourages players interested in pursuing a future pathway in baseball to “keep striving to improve your game to be the best you can possibly be. Never give up on your goals.”
