CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LATEST DUT JOSHUA PEARL TO COMMIT TO USA COLLEGE!!!

Please join us in congratulating Joshua Pearl from Sydney, New South Wales who is our latest DownUnder Traveller athlete to verbally commit to playing college baseball in America.

Joshua started playing baseball at 4 years of age and said, “The second I started playing, I fell in love with the game. Baseball is my life and it always has been. It has played a huge part in the person I have become and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

Joshua is excited to experience what the baseball college life has to offer and said that he chose to commit to New Mexico Junior College because, “They are a great school, from their baseball team and program, to their studies. They also have a great success rate of getting athletes to the next level”.

Joshua contacted the DownUnder Travellers to discuss college prospects. He was then marketed to and approached by the DownUnder Travellers extensive network of highly sought after college connections. Joshua said of the DownUnder Travellers and the recruitment process, “It has been amazing. The DownUnder Travellers do a really good job of getting your name out to a lot of schools and they make the process really easy for everyone. Highly recommend.”

When asked what advice he would give to players who want to pursue a future pathway in baseball he said, “Keep at it, work hard and fight for your dream. The only person who can make your dream come true is yourself, so don’t give up.”
